The KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and HTW Saar-University of Applied Sciences, School of Architecture SAS, Germany, are holding an international online seminar on the 4th of May. Check-in from 08.00 - the program runs from 8.30 to 17.00.

The event will bring together speakers from industry, craftsmen, planners and academia working with wood in design and architecture. The interdisciplinary seminar is bridging design, production and research in wood, having an international panel of experts who will share cutting edge knowledge in architectural wood design, timber engineering, material science, application of design and production digital tools. The event aims to explore further ideas of how to extend the service life of wood, including wood re-use, cascading and by-products. The focus is on architecture, engineering and furniture design.
