Der Schlosshof zu Wittenberg steht alljährlich im Sommer für Freiluftveranstaltungen und Konzerte zur Verfügung. Das Schlossensemble bildet für vielfältige kulturelle Veranstaltungen eine eindrucksvolle Kulisse, welche aus Sicht des Denkmalschutzes auch bei Veranstaltungen erlebbar bleiben soll.

Das transparente, bewegliche Folienkissendach schützt bei schlechtem Wetter die Bühne, es kann aber auch so positioniert werden, dass es einen vorgelagerten Freibereich überdacht und so eine Art Open-Air Foyer schafft.
Die vorgeschlagene flexible Positionierung kann so auf verschiedene Veranstaltungsszenarien adaptiv reagieren.

Die schwebende transparente Wolke ist an einer Stahlunterkonstruktion befestigt, Teleskopträger ermöglichen hierbei die flexible Positionierung.
Ergänzt wird das Folienkissendach durch mobile, ebenfalls transparente pneumatische „Vorhänge", die nach Bedarf einen Bühnenraum bilden können.
Um die akustischen Verhältnisse immer ideal auf die speziellen Anforderungen der jeweiligen Inszenierung abstimmen zu können, soll die Optimierung der natürlichen Raumakustik mithilfe eines elektronischen Raumakustiksystems ermöglicht werden.
Oberhalb der Bühnenvorderkante, an ergänzenden Auslegerangeln der Beleuchterbrücke und mit integrierten Beleuchtungssystemen können der gesamte Bühnenaufbau, das Dach und die Wände des Schlosshofes lichttechnisch eindrucksvoll inszeniert werden.

The courtyard of the Wittenberg castle is annually utilized in the summer for open-air events and concerts. The ensemble of castle structures provides an impressive backdrop for various cultural events; a backdrop that is to remain experiential and visible during events in light of historic preservation.

The transparent, movable air pillow canopy protects the stage during unfavorable weather, but can also be positioned so as to cover an open area by the stage to create a sort of open-air foyer. The suggested flexible positioning can also adaptively react to various event scenarios.

The floating, transparent cloud is attached to a steel substructure; telescoping poles enable its flexible positioning. The pillow canopy is furnished with mobile, likewise transparent, pneumatic "curtains" that can form a stage space according to needs.

The acoustics of the natural space is to be optimized with help of an electronic spatial acoustics system, in order to have to ability to ideally adjust the acoustics to the special demands of each stage use.

Above the front edge of the stage, mounted on booms of the lighting bridge and with integrated lighting systems, the entire stage structure, the canopy, and the walls of the courtyard can be impressively staged with lighting technics.
